Provincia di Salerno

The Provincia is the local authority responsible for programming, direction and control of educational and training plans expressed by the local system. It advises and drives work as:

• integrates its activity with the activities of municipalities and the region and has relationships with these bodies as regards the supply of integrated training, adult education, as well as technical education and higher technical education and relationships between schools and the labour market;
• it supervises schools, including non-state equivalent and private schools, as well as foreign schools;
• assesses and monitors to identify the efficiency of educational institutions and to assess the degree of implementation of training supply plan.
